Assisting Police in the First Few Hours of
the Disappearance of a Child

At any point in time when a child is missing and reported to local law enforcement, officers from anywhere in the United States will be able to call "A Child Is Missing Command Center". Once reported, an individually recorded message is phoned out to the area the child was reported last seen. Utilizing the state-of-the-art computer calling and geomapping system, which is in operation 24 hours a day, 7 days, 365 days a year including holidays, the A Child Is Missing’s "Command Center System" can call 1000 homes and business in less than 5 minutes in the area in which the child was last seen. This system continues to call until the entire search area has been penetrated with "maximum impact" in order to get the desired results as Law Enforcement Agencies and A Child Is Missing work together to recover the missing child. As funding increases so will the number of states that can be in the program.

A Child Is Missing, a nonprofit, is the first and only service of its kind in the country that works directly with law enforcement to find missing children. The first three hours of a child missing, a majority of the time determines whether the child lives or dies.
