It
is anticipated that the "Climb for America’s Children, 2001-2002
Expedition" will be the most televised, watched and publicized
climbing event/fundraiser in the last ten years,
or that we know of ever! Our "World Press Conference" will
be held held in the third week of March 2002, at which time
the entire world will know about the "Next Generation Telethon"
and "Extreme-Reality-Based" campaign and television special
that will be raising contributions for A Child Is Missing,
a worthy cause.
In
coordination with our "World Press Conference" this March,
press releases and press packages are being sent to inform
organizations such as AP, UPI, Reuters, CNN, ABC, CBS, FOX,
Entertainment Tonight, National Geographic, People Magazine,
Gannett Corp., Business In Broward Magazine (Fort Lauderdale,
FL), Climbing, Rock & Ice, Backpacker Magazine, Outside
Magazine and other global climbing publications. In addition,
advertising announcements will be placed for the
consumer in media such as National Geographic, People, TV
Guide, USA Today, National Enquirer, Business In Broward
Magazine (Fort Lauderdale, FL), Climbing, Rock & Ice,
Backpacker Magazine, Outside Magazine, other global climbing
publications, several major national radio stations and
nationally syndicated radio programs. Ads will also be
placed in trade journals such as Multi Channel News,
Cable Vision, Cable Marketing, Cable Television Business,
Cable World, Broadcasting, Electronic Media and Channels
for additional broadcast support. The climb itself will
begin June 1, 2002 with a duration of twenty-three days
or more depending on weather and our film crew or the networks.
All
sponsors will be incorporated into our web site and designated
the title "Official Sponsor" and depending on the level
of the sponsor’s contribution would receive additional and
prominent placement in our national advertising campaign.
All of the usual and customary uses of the "Official Logo"
will be given to the sponsors, with all of the authoritative
endorsements from our "World Class Climbers, World Class
Guides and Celebrities", which a sponsor could use on or
in any of their advertising campaigns along with the statement,
"An Official Sponsor Of The Climb For America’s Children,
Denali 2001-2002 Expedition". In addition, there will be
photo shoots all the way up. We will have a "World Famous
Photographer" coming with us to memorialize this event along
with a film crew.
As
it is extremely important to maximize the amount of funds
that get contributed to A Child Is Missing, Climb For America’s
Children’s promotional team, the board of directors, the
advisory board, the climbers and the founder, are making
every effort to minimize the expenses for this event and
campaign right down to the smallest detail, as Climb For
America’s Children has virtually next to no overhead. With
this result in mind equipment sponsors and cash contributors
have overwhelmingly expressed a desire to participate. A
cost accounting audit by one of the worlds foremost accounting
firms will be performed in order to satisfy sponsors and
associated contributors that their money went to the cause
it was intended. A Child Is Missing and Climb For America’s
Children are excited to have such an opportunity to collaborate
and expect to raise substantial funds for this very needed
and worthy cause, "Our Children In Need!"
